TYRANNY

Tyranny comes in many forms. Some people consider something as simple as a parking ticket to be a from of tyranny. Here, we won't scrape that far down into the bottom of the barrel of tyranny.

Two relatively recent incidents tend to stand out as obscene, overwhelming abuse of government force: Ruby Ridge and Waco.

RUBY RIDGE

The Constitution Society has a brief list of links here regarding the events at Ruby Ridge. There is a brief Wikipedia article about this event also.

The following YouTube links provide some basic coverage of the events at Ruby Ridge. You may do more research of your own, of course, both on the internet and at your local library.

WACO

The Federal assault on a church facility at Waco Texas resulted in the death of  76 people, including 17 (possibly 21) children. There is an extensive Wikipedia article here about the assault at Waco.

The article states that public opinion holds that The Federal Government over-reacted during this siege. This is little comfort to those who lost loved ones, and is of even less value to those who were killed.

A documentary, Waco: Rules of Engagement was produced about the siege. There are a great number of sources available which cover this event. You are encouraged to investigate the matter for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

Waco: Rules of Engagement Part 1 on YouTube   Please look at the Rules of Engagement videos, there are 14 of them, and there are more Waco videos on YouTube. Here is the Rules of Engagement trailer on YouTube. And never, ever forget this.

The Battle of Athens, Tennessee 1946

Again, The Constitution Society provides an excellent web page regarding this event, whereby veterans of WW2 restored the rule of law and removed corrupt county officials.  There is a reason why schoolchildren do not seem to be taught this event in schools these days. That same reason is why they should be.

Government Corruption

With modern technology and the unimaginably rapid growth of data storage space and the increasing size of web-servers, there is still not enough blank space on the entire internet to begin to cover this effectively. Stupidity in government may be as bad as, or even worse than, outright corruption and tyranny, so we might even come up with a section here dedicated to stupid government tricks, just for kicks.

We will be updating this, and other sections of the web page as we can. Stay tuned...
