OPERATION AIRBORN OCT 08

Seven persons present. One ATV accident resulting in a sprained thumb and seriously ugly bruised thigh. One bleeding raw spot worn in by a paddle holster. Two injured persons out of seven is a pretty bloody day.

But hey, I re-qualified...And so did Mad Hatter, despite having sustained the above mentioned injuries prior to qualifying.

We went through some gear checking, weapon familiarization, and sighting in. This is the time to make sure that your new scope works, that your sights have not been dinged out of zero, and that everything else functions correctly. (Note: For example, wearing my Fobus holster with my web gear produces a nasty raw spot on my hip, so I will be using my drop holster from now on, or getting something else.)

(Ignore the dates on the pics. We'll edit them out soon.)

The Foreman 500 took a good whack, but was returned to operational status shortly after returning home. Maybe keeping a few of the critically important parts (like a tie-rod???) on hand would be a good idea.

We few. Fewer than a mug, actually...
